DRY TYPE TRANSFORMER

Dry type transformer is cooled by air with no use of liquid or gas as insulating medium. Nomex paper or glass fibers are used for insulation with no concerns on fire explosion.

It services densely populated areas and places requiring higher safety such as school, hospital, movie theater and hotels. Especially, Vacuum Pressure Impregnated (VPI) type transformer, applicable to 3.3kV and above, is safe, economical and environmentally friendly as it has excellent electrical and mechanical characteristics.
